Joëlle Storet is a Belgian-born Congolese artist in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She has exhibited several works in Fayetteville, Bentonville, Vienna, and Berlin.
This project aimed to create a logo, printed collateral, and a website for Joëlle that depicts her as a Leo, a woman of strength, and a uniting force for different cultures. Our solution for her logo was to use a lioness (the Leo symbol and a Congolese symbol of strength, unity, and courage) plus an interpretation of her name written in Arabic. As for Joëlle’s collateral, it was important that we make her striking artwork the main feature of the designs in a simple but bold fashion.
